Throughout the year adult students will gain the necessary skills to successfully pass all components of the New York State Barbering licensing exam. Students practice in the professional setting of our campus-based shop. Barbering students will gain valuable skills in effective communication, team-work, ethics, and problem solving techniques. Topics covered include Skin Care, Hair Cutting, Facial Shaving, Styling, New York State Board Preparation, Shop Operation, Professional Ethics, and Business Planning and Loans.
